This beautiful farm and its furnished casitas are situated on the Chama River in the village of Medanales, about 45 minutes from Santa Fe and Los Alamos, 1 hour from Taos. My place is close to Abiquiu, home of Georgia O'Keefe, Ghost Ranch, and exquisitely beautiful Southwest landscapes. You’ll love my place because of the Chama River on which it is situated and the abundant natural life that thrives on the land. This destination is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Each casita has its own bathroom, kitchen, eating area, and access to laundry facilities. Spaciousness, peace, and light prevail.
The property has meditation spots and paths, benches at the river, and trees, flowers, and vegetable gardens in abundance.
I am available to answer questions during your stay, and enjoy getting together once or twice for a snack or beverage to visit and learn more about each other at some point during your stay.
I love nature and animals, which explains my beautiful place on the Chama River in Northern New Mexico. I grow vegetables and work as a psychotherapist in both Santa Fe and Rio Arriba Counties. Travel has graced my life; I have met some of my closest friends while living in Europe and India. Have enjoyed amazing times in Egypt, the Sudan, Peru, Mexico and the Pacific Islands, among many other venues. Whether host or guest, I am respectful, considerate, and caring. I hope for the same in guests who come to Llama Deara Ranch.
