My place is close to art and culture, great views, and the airport. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
We only live on the main level of our home, which has a master bedroom, a living room, the kitchen, a breakfast nook, and a dining room. It has a deck off the back that stretches the length of the house. Our upstairs level has two private rooms available for guests along with a private bathroom/shower. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed. The other bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a queen bed. We also have a downstairs media room available for guests attached to another private bathroom with a shower. It has an Xbox 360 if you're so inclined, and a large sectional couch that can be arranged into a rectangle that comfortably sleeps 3-4 people. We also have camping cots and a queen-sized air mattress available if you really wanted to pack people in. If you would like sheets or towels changed/laundered during your stay, let us know!
In addition to the private media room available downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs that are reserved for guests, you are free to use the kitchen, dining room, living room, and back deck during your stay (we will be in and out of these spaces, but we do our best to keep them orderly and accessible). We have a small, nothing-to-write-home-about fishing boat you are welcome to use if your vehicle has a tow hitch. You are also welcome to use the charcoal grill we keep on the back deck.
We will be available to offer help throughout your stay. We will probably have anything you've forgotten, from extra toothbrushes to sunscreen, so let us know if there's anything you need! If we don't have it, there are several 24-hour Walmart Neighborhood Markets around 5 minutes away and a 24-hour Walmart Supercenter within 10 minutes.
We have two indoor cats that have free roam of the main level. We ask that you keep the door shut to the upstairs rooms and the door shut to the basement level - the cats have never occupied those spaces and we want to keep them allergen free for guests. Also, please don't let the cats outside, no matter what they try to tell you. We have two large outdoor dogs that are trained on a perimeter system. With their electric collars, they roam our back yard and the land behind our house. They do not have access to the front of the house, in case you see them and are worried they might slobber you to death.
We have several private rooms and bathrooms available to guests. We have two guest rooms upstairs and a bathroom with tub/shower. One room has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds and the other bedroom has a queen bed and a private balcony. We also have a basement room with a large sectional couch that can comfortably sleep 3-4 people when arranged as a large square. The basement room has the ability to enter and exit our house privately through a patio door, and has a private bathroom with shower attached. My husband and I have two young children, two cats that live inside, and two large dogs that live outside with perimeter collars. The doors to the upstairs guest rooms and downstairs basement room are kept shut off from the cats - in case there are allergy concerns, if you avoid the kitchen and main living area you would be fine. You're welcome to use our kitchen during your stay - we have all the typical pots and pans, pantry staples, and spices that you're welcome to use. We have a coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, microwave etc.
