Fantastic turn-of-the-century, modernized Colonial, quiet neighborhood, babbling brook, close to all that Williamstown has to offer; museums, college, restaurants, outdoor activities. Come and leave your troubles behind!
Great place. Beautiful classic New England home on at the end of a quiet street on a beautiful large lot. Especially nice are the large master bedroom, TV and dining rooms. Also you can enjoy walking in the very quiet neighborhood and over to the Williams College campus. One surprise you might have is the home is missing the usual items you would expect in at a hotel such as a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner etc so pack accordingly.
Sarah's house is big and bright with comfortable bedrooms, a beautiful backyard, and plenty of common space to eat meals and hang out. And it's perfectly located an easy walk to campus/Spring St. and Hopkins Forest and other great running and hiking spots to boot! They are very relaxed on check in and check out, letting us arrive early in the day and relaxedly make our way out of the house on the back end. That really makes the experience of staying here that much more enjoyable. Great spot, I would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay! We were here for a week in August - and actually got married during our stay - and the house exceeded every expectation. We had TONS of room inside and out - the lawn is simple gorgeous and so, so spacious - so it was a great home base for our week in Williamstown. We had a lot of friends and family in town, and people could easily drop by to say hi without feeling like they were crowding us. The kitchen was well-supplied, although we cooked most of our meals out on the grill. We also really liked that it felt secluded and quiet, yet was a short walk to Spring Street.
The house was perfect -- we had a small group reunion for the weekend and hosted five alums, but were also able to make the house the center of day activities for our broader group -- we did a pancake breakfast, rehearsed our music, kids flew drones in the yard, etc. We mostly drove to various functions on campus and Spring Street, but it was an easy walk as well. We will _definitely_ come back and stay here again. Great place!
