The Una Mud House in our property gives our guests a glimpse of different traditional Una architecture and old living style in peaceful eco-friendly environment. This house has two floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 private baths and changing rooms, and a traditional chullah. Walls are of handmade sun dried bricks with mud plastering and flooring too. No cement is used in this house.
Our humble property offers you a village like stay in Himalayas. Vision behind making the resort is to present a glimpse to the guests of different types of village architecture and old living style in peaceful ecofriendly environment.
The Una House is two floors with a double bed and attached bath and changing room on each floor. Bath is with glass enclosure. There is a traditional chullah on the first floor. The walls are of handmade sun dried bricks with mud plastering and flooring too. No cement is used in this house. The roofing is of grass called “Kakh/Khar” laid layer by layer on Bamboo roofing.
We have 4 houses in our property, each with a unique traditional architectural style inspired from different Himachali valleys.
In addition to your home, guests will have access to the common lounge, restaurant, garden, party hall and parking area.
You will find me or my wife at the property for your assistance. We try our best to ensure all our guests get the perfect village experience.
After 22years of working in the hospitality industry in Gulf, I now have multiple restaurants in Palampur and nearby Army areas. I started my resort last year to give guests a taste of local Himachali life and culture in a peaceful eco-friendly environment.
