the house and the balcony was really dirty. the kitchen was TOTALLY empty, we have to ask at least for plates and and cutlery that they took from another apartment in the same building (so you have to be lucky to choose the apartment and hope that the another one is free!). We have to buy oil, salt, sugar etc (just for 2nights) and we couldn't wash dishes (2plates, 2 forks and 1spoon totally) beacuse there wasn't soap, sponge and the necessary stuff. The towels was for one person and we advice that we are 2! For internet just when we arrived in the apartment we were informed that "the modem is broken from a few days" and the connection never appear, I would like to know before the arrive and not after! the sea view is not so amazing like the photo because between the apartment and the house you see a big statal street, plastic pavilion for plants and the sea is not so clear like it appear in the photo. The host was really available for the keys and we had not any problems to contact her, but for that price, compared with the other ones, it was really an expensive apartment and for the internet absence we have to pay the entire price anyway. The apartment is near supermarket and the little city, but you have to take the statal street to reach the little center.
We stayed 5 nights in Virginia's apartment in Korfalonas. The location is very food if you have a car : very close to Kissamos but away from the noise of the town. A good spot to go to Falassarna, Balos, Chania, Elafonissi. We also went to Omalos plateau/Samaria gorge from there (stunning). The apartment is recent, comfortable, with a very good air conditioning, equiped kitchen, a balcony with a nice view on the see. Close to the road but well insonorized, as we did not hear it at all. Virginia is very friendly, answers quickly to messages and gave us good advice on what to do and where to eat in the area. Where we arrived we found wine and water bottles which is a nice attention from her.
