Ok, I have actually never written a negative feedback, but this stay was the worst of my 20+ stays with AirBnB. The apartment was cleaned a little, but was very humid inside and had a smell of mold all around it. I had to buy a mop and a disinfect everything the same day, this is how bad it smelled. On each step of the way, there were different handwritten posters sticked to the walls with different strange rules. The host charges a deposit and the posters scare you that if you do anything than you will have to pay. You have to undergo a very inconvenient check-in procedure, where you are forced to check basically everything in the apartment. After this check I found some broken bulbs, dirt under bed and unusable wardrobes due to mold problem and I thought the host will charge me for everything to fix in this place. There was no internet, the phone receiption is bad. The street is very noisy at 2-3 AM at night with people at cafes shouting and screaming. The closer highway is very noisy 24 hours a day. At check-out, we had to wait for host to come for 1,5 hours and even afterwards I heard the final complaint that we didn't clean the place! Which was not true, since we washed all dishes, cleaned everything (even though the cleaning charges are ridiculous!) and all was left was some sweeping (Did we have to do that???). After that the host was sending me photos with presumably stolen sheets (???!!!!) without even looking closer to find them. Overall experience, very bad!!!
The point of AirBnB is to welcome somebody to your house and here, it looked like the host never wanted you in their house.... Maybe because the apartment had a "For Sale" sign?
