Three Bears Cabin is the perfect combination of luxury and the rustic charm of the perfect cabin. Located in beautiful Sautee Nacoochee, GA and just a few short miles to Swiss Alpine Helen, GA! Resting on 3-1/2 acres (which adjoin 50+ acres of gorgeous, old-growth forest!) and in a very quiet private community, you'll discover absolute serenity. Our very easy-access cabin overlooks a lovely mountain valley with a branch below and seasonal mountain views. Daydream on the wide, rocking-chair front porch or delight in the tree-house view from the spacious and very private, covered back porch, which features a luxurious hot tub and a stone fireplace with gas-logs for those crisp, mountain evenings. In the fall, the surrounding forest bursts into a gorgeous, blazing show of color - just right for a hike up Sal! The winter season is all about snuggling up in front of a fire - and hoping for one of those very special, Georgia mountain snow days! Spring steals in to bring an abundance of beauty, with the pretty orange blossoms of native azaleas and the delicate pink clusters on the mountain laurel. Summer is perfect for zip-lining, mini golf, tubing on the Chattahoochee, trout fishing, horseback riding…you name it! And remember, you're only a short drive from several great local vineyards and wineries! Plus, all the restaurants and myriad shops of Alpine Helen are just 7 miles away!

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s. Helen is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. We've got shopping, camping, both rustic and luxury mountain cabins, restaurants, theater, recreation, romantic getaways, beautiful scenery, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, tubing, golf, and more. Something for every member of the family.
Festivals and special events include a hot air balloon race, Winefest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest and Christmas parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and Bavarian Nights of Summer. From mid-September through October, Helen hosts the longest Oktoberfest in the South. Alpenfest offers entertainment during the Holiday season from Thanksgiving through December.
