Stay in the heart of Bridgeport! Bright two-bedroom house with kitchen, super comfy beds, & satellite TV. Close to White Sox Stadium, Downtown, UIC, IIT, Chinatown, and the highway. Safe, friendly neighborhood with plenty of free street parking. Art galleries, coffee shops, parks, and grocery stores all within walking distance, as is the train, a ten-minute walk to the Ashland stop (Orange Line). Midway airport is a few stops west, and downtown is a few stops east.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed, half a bathroom, and a crib. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, closet, and small table. The couch can fold out into a full bed. There are also bunk beds.
The main door to the house is on the left side. It's a red door.
Let me know if you have any questions about Chicago! I'll be around.
This an old house so please keep that in mind.
Please do not send packages or mail to the house.
This is a very quiet, residential neighborhood. If you're planning to have a party or anything like that this is not the best place for you.
We're both in the arts, so we spend large chunks of time constantly at home or constantly traveling (I'm a writer and Danny is a professional sax player). We love Game of Thrones and Walking Dead probably a little too much--Sunday nights around here are very exciting. I'm a huge book lover and coffee shop dweller--let me know if you need recommendations on either! Danny knows the Chicago music scene very well so he can point you in the right direction there too. Bridgeport is our favorite Chicago neighborhood by far, but if we could live anywhere it would probably be Canada! Canada is the best.
