A cosy and quiet apartment (26 m2) in a house built in 1790, good for couples, solo adventurers and furry friends (pets). It is very close to the main square and the old town.
There are two single beds making a big double one. And a pull-out sofa.
NB Half of the money you give for your stay goes for Croatian animals in need, that is, abandoned, neglected or abused. Thx :-)
This recently renovated, ground-floor apartment has high ceilings with vaults and 50 cm/1.70 ft thick walls that make it cool in summer and warm in winter. It consists of a spacious room, a kitchen with antique cupboards placed in a niche in the hall and a small bathroom. The apartment is oriented toward the inner yard and pretty quiet.
Next door to the house entrance is probably the oldest existing bakery in Zagreb, which makes excellent bread. Opposite is the post office, and a few minutes by foot two grocery stores, one at a tram station. The street ends with a beautiful view of the mount Medvednica (Bear Mountain), which is only 7 tram stops away.
The location of the apartment is really great, it is close to everything. The main square and Dolac, the loveliest Zagreb market, are only 15 minutes by foot. You may go there along the picturesque Tkalčić street, full of little cafés and one of Zagreb “living rooms“. The Upper Town (the oldest part of the city) is some 10 minutes away, up a hill. Most of the cinemas, galleries, museums, theatres and night clubs are within 30 min by foot, and there are a few nice parks in the neighborhood.

I speak English, Spanish and understand some German and Italian.
