Two bedroom one bath older house just a couple blocks from downtown Grand Haven. Easy bike ride or walk to beach and pier! Long term renter occupies attached apartment which has a separate entrance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Joe's house. We chose it to save money over a motel, and we did. But what we really enjoyed was the space and homey atmosphere. I felt like we were crashing at a friend's house. We were a little worried when we arrived; the back entrance was unfinished and a little rickety. That's because he's been fixing the place up. We quickly got over our concerns as we settled in. Joe is a great host, friendly and there when you need him. He even left a couple beers in the fridge for my husband, which were much appreciated. And I was so grateful for the coffee and coffee pot.
This antique house is in a quiet neighboorhood near Grand Haven's main attractions (5-min. walking distance from downtown and about 15-min. walking distance from the beach). The beds (full and twin) were perfect for two people and there is enough space to relax. Overall, Joe was an excellent host. We'd definitely stay here again!
