My place is unique; it is nestled away in the countryside with superb views of the Puffin Island and the Irish Sea and not a road or house in sight. White Beach is a five minute walk from the cottage. It sits in a half acre garden with loads of space for family games and private access to Fedw Fawr, the National Trust moorland from which you can join the Anglesey Coastal Path. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
The cottage has a spacious front room with large fireplace (wood burner) and crog loft. It has plenty of space for six people and includes a wide screen TV with Freeview and a library of DVDs, books and games. Also available is WiFi access. The country kitchen has room for six to eat and is fitted with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave. The bathroom has separate electric shower and bath and there is a second toilet/sink in the utility room with its washer and freezer. There is oil central heating. Complimentary wood for arrival and other wood available to purchase.
There are two bedrooms with double beds and one room with two single beds. These will be made up ready for you when you arrive, but please bring your own towels.
At the front there is a large parking area and at the back a patio area with table and chairs and a barbecue.
The cottage is situated within its own spacious grounds which the guests are welcome to enjoy. The cottage's grounds are surrounded by farm fields with private access to the coastal footpath and the local beach, famous for its fishing, swimming and bird watching.
I will be available throughout the guests' stay to help and provide information.
The cottage is accessed by a farm track leading from the lane.
Because it's a working farm I will be in the field next to the cottage at times to water the garden and tend the chickens and ducks.
Sheep will be roaming the fields outside the cottage perimeter. This is why we can't accept dogs.
Also available are fresh eggs and vegetables from the garden.
Because it's a working farm, we can't accept dogs unfortunately.
Guests should close gates at all times.
Please do not bring extra visitors
Check in and out times can be flexible.
I love to climb and surf and anything that involves being outside! I work as an English teacher and live and work on my family farm on Anglesey. As my mother is Canadian I have spent many summers living and working there but this summer I have chosen to stay in Wales for most of the summer and enjoy all the fun things to do here as well as look after the farm.
However, I will be in Canada in August and so Emily will be your host for a few weeks. She is from Beaumaris and grew up helping on my farm so you're in good hands! She lived in Italy and now teaches English at Bangor University. She's a great source of local knowledge and will be able to answer any questions you have.
