Set in a recently renovated historic house you can instantly experience the best of Zurich's lifestyle in this cosy apartment. In moments you can walk along the lakeside through a lovely park (or take a swim in the summer). Explore the hip district of "Seefeld", filled trendy bars, restaurants and cute boutiques. Public transport (150 yards) and links to the main station and the airport (25 min) are easily accessible. The city centre is a few tram stops or a ten minute walk away.
The apartment is in a house which was built in the early 1900 which was completely refurbished in 2010/2011 installing new kitchens, bathrooms and renovating the facade and roof. While certain things are new, we tried to keep the old character and preserve many vintage things so the living room has wooden walls and a Swiss chalet feeling.
The apartment is on the ground floor in a house with two other flats. The building is in a mixed business/residential area.
Guest have access also to the little garden in front (private) and the patio in the back (shared with a few other tenants). A strict non-smoking policy is enforced at the shared patio and due to noise control it is available only until 22:00h. Please respect these rules.
Next door is a business center, and the office manager Blanca can help with any issues if we are not available. Business travellers might even want to rent a day-office or have some meetings in one of the meeting rooms available (extra cost).
Parking can be arranged for an extra CHF 35 (appprox. USD 40 or EUR 30 per day). But unless you go out of Zurich you don't really need a car. The flat has easy access to bus, tram and train (Stadelhofen station).
This is a residential building so please keep in mind the neighbours if you are coming back late or leaving early. Please enter and leave the building with consideration .Please also remove high heeled shoes and boots when in the flat as it has wooden floors and can be very noisy for other residents.
