Nestled in a neighborhood of historic Victorian Houses, my basement studio apartment is within walking distance to the downtown area including MA MoCA and MCLA. The amenities (including a full kitchen), convenient location, comfort, and upscale decor make it a special place to enjoy all the Berkshires have to offer.
Parking for one car available on property. To the left of the house is a driveway. Go to the end and park in front of the last garage bay. Walk back down the driveway and enter the house through the red side door. There will be a door and stairs straight ahead. Go down the stairs and my studio is on the left.
I am a World traveler, but find myself always returning to the Berkshires to see friends and family and to soak up the culture and the serenity its beauty brings. I bought the 1881 "Painted Lady" where my studio apartment is located because I love history and to honor the generations of my family that made North Adams their home; from my great grandfather who was a dynamiter on the Hoosac Tunnel, to my grandfather who ran motion pictures there and to honor my Mom who worked at Arnold Print Works which is now where MA MoCA resides.
I am delighted to be able to share my 'home away from home' with you and hope you enjoy the Berkshires and my studio apartment as much as I do.
