Stand-alone home, close to beautiful Brower Park and incredible borough treasure The Brooklyn Children's Museum, C-train to Manhattan (6 min walk), Brunswick Cafe, Saraghina Italian restaurant, Bakerie, Peaches BBQ all in walking distance. The B65 bus on the corner provides direct route to Berg'n beerhall + food court, Doughnut Plant, Shake Shack, and more. Our place is especially good for families (and their kids), also for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and medium-sized groups.
Recently renovated, yet retaining old Brooklyn brownstone charm, we are designers and our home is art-filled, light-filled, and very welcoming for travelers who desire a peaceful place to rest after a stimulating day exploring NYC.
Our beds are comfortable (all with bedbug-prevention mattress encasements,) our showers clean and contemporary, our patio is the place to grill in the summertime, overlooking the green backyard. Bring out the cooler and stock it up and enjoy dinner and drinks on the picnic table overlooking the yard.
Plenty of space for the kids, and/or two sets of grown ups.
We are 6 minute walk to the C-local train to Manhattan. A 15 minute walk to the A-express train to Manhattan. The 3 train is also less than 15 minutes' walk for a straight shot to Broadway or the upper west side. Or jump on the bus on the corner for a straight shot down all that Brooklyn's incredible Bergen Street has to offer: Berg'n, Franklin Avenue, Doughnut Plant, Gorilla Coffee, Shake Shack (across from Barclays Center).
You will have our 2-story family home to yourselves.
Our single, ground-floor tenant is a family-member, he's quiet and respectful, but also a resource in case any help may be needed. He has his own separate entrance/exit and you probably will never see him.
We have 3 kids, so our home is well equipped for all that makes a stay that much easier if you have little ones. Stokke kids' chairs, outlet safety plugs, tons of toys and children's books, and 3 giant beanbag chairs, backyard swing. Also we have fully-equipped kitchen for cooking.
- We have a single, quiet tenant downstairs. Please be respectful. He's used to the pitter patter of little feet above him, and is a pretty heavy sleeper, for what it's worth.
