A pretty room, soft mattress, 1500 count microfiber sheets, big screen TV, wi fi connections, tea & coffee set ups will make you feel at home. .4 miles, walking distance to Old Town shops & Farmers Market on Saturdays; Wagon Wheel Park, the city cemetery & nature center are 4 blocks away.
Guest bedroom, private bathroom, & the hall dining table which looks out onto the patio garden. Birds at feeders every morning, rabbits & squirrels. A welcoming meditation bench creates a Zen-like peaceful atmosphere. The garden is open to all.
I have over 12 years experience as a hospice nurse. Certified as a GRIEF RECOVERY SPECIALIST, I am here to listen if you need a friendly ear. My Dad's favorite quotation, by Omar Kham was: "Give me a house by the side of the road, to be a friend to man." This is my opportunity to fulfill that dream.
I practice Gentle Yoga every morning, & have a spare Yoga mat & meditation tapes on hand.
When friends enter the gate to the courtyard they often remark on the peacefulness and the noticeably cooler temperature the shade of my "Grandfather" tree provides. Gardening brings me peace filled satisfaction. Witnessing the short seasons of the annuals, the 200 +years on this tree, and we,... somewhere in between... I am reminded of a human's brief time here. I feel like I am a steward of the gardens. I hope you find the time to soak up nature's healing power. I also love to decorate and improve my home's aesthetics. I am an avid DIY & HDTV fan!
