Absolutely HORRIBLE. We kept in touch with Nabs until the day before our trip, and after a long flight and commute from the airport, we opened the door to a filthy, dirty and smelly room. We looked around wondering what was going on... Old mail piled up on the floor, the fridge was not working, but had what seemed like rotten meat and rotten milk (which stank up the room in a matter of seconds). The bathroom was out of order, the shower was moldy, half used bottles of water a bit everywhere, the cute little pillows we saw in his promo pic are faded and dusty. Even the windows were dirty! We were forced to stay in the stenchy room to connect to wi-fi to contact Nabs. He was quick to respond but he was ''out of town"... He claimed his cleaning personnel said they cleaned the room... but honestly, when the mail isn't picked up and the toilet isn't working, it's hard to believe the owner was not aware... An air bnb representative provided us with alternatives that were either too far, check in the next day or just not to our liking. How could we trust a picture of a clean room??? The reason we booked months in advance is because we trusted that the price was fair for the room. We were then left to fend for ourselves and look for a hotel twice the amount we paid for and not to mention take a taxi there, since we spent our entire day trying to find a solution. We were eventually fully refunded for the room, but nothing can replace our discomfort and disappointment. Not to mention our time, new hotel fees and transportation.
Dear Veronica, So far 99% of my customer enjoyed their stay in my place ( location, price, value for money, communication...), and I always received good reviews. I always consider my guest as the most important aspect of the business and I always make sure to meet and exceed his/her expectations at all time. Unfortunately, on this occasion, while I was away, I was let down by my cleaner who was enable to deliver; untidy place and fridge switched off by mistake, that what cause the bad smell. I am really sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your experience. After you decided to cancel the reservation, I was happy to offer you a FULL refund for your stay. The problem with the cleaner has now been solved and she will be replaced with a more competent cleaner and the flat is tidy and fresh again. Thank you for your valuable comment.
Logement très bien situé ( bus et métro à proximité) et au calme mais dans un état de propreté inacceptable. Rangements inutilisables car non vidés. A recommander lorsque le problème de propreté sera résolu.
We had a great stay in the apartment and everything look the same as in the picture. The great part was Nabs was always available to contact and the apartment had whatever you required during a stay. It was a great experience and we will definitely recommend this place for my friends and will prefer the same in the future trips too.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area on the Jubilee line and in easy walking distance to the Bermondsey tube station. Be prepared to walk up to the 3rd floor though to get to the apartment though. The apartment itself was a good cosy size and is exactly as described and pictured. There is a small kitchen, bathroom ans separate toilet with all basics supplied. Loved the new shower system, much appreciated! Location wise it was in a short walking distance to the Tower Bridge and Londom Bridge to the west (which is the next station on the Jubilee line) as well as the Tower of London on the other side of the Thames river.
