The bedroom has a big double bed with large window overlooking the garden. The bathroom, shared with my lovely housemate, is also upstairs. Downstairs there is a sitting room, dining room with wood burning stove, and kitchen. We are in a very quiet area though close to Cowley Road.
The guest room is upstairs, with a big pine-framed window overlooking the garden, with original floor boards, as throughout rest of the house ( no fitted carpets).
The shared bathroom has a bath with shower overhead - good pressure since a new system boiler was installed :-)
I am currently doing some renovations in the loft so occasionally there are some building materials in the hall/landing awaiting transport upstairs!
This is a newish listing because I have swapped rooms! You can see lots of reviews in my profile though :-)
Feel free to use living, dining rooms and kitchen. The kitchen is basic but functional! There is a fridge which you are welcome to use, I normally have milk, butter, jam/marmalade in there and sometimes coffee. There are various teas, and plenty of cooking spices, olive oil, sugar, etc. If the weather is miserable I will try to have the stove lighting when you arrive :-)
There is a garden which is quite lovely when the sun shines, but don't expect a perfectly manicured landscape - Nature definitely has the upper hand!
There is a fast wifi connection (up to 70M).
I am around quite a bit, even sometimes during the day, and very happy to pass on any useful tips on Oxford & the local area.
There is a hairy ginger cat who is mostly friendly! She is kept out of the guest room but has free roam through the rest of the house - so no good for you if you have allergies.
This is a new listing but I have had 2 other rooms in the house listed previously - if you look at my profile you will find the reviews.
I would like guests to feel at home and be considerate to the rest of the household and the fabric of the property! Please ask if you need anything which I could possibly provide to make your stay a happy one :-)
I am fastidious about recycling so please ask if unsure about where to put rubbish!
When leaving the house please make sure the front door is shut properly behind you and in the house, open and close bedroom/bathroom doors quietly.
