Small room--great for sleeping with black curtains and aircon! microwave outside your room, space in our fridge. Shared bathroom. 10 mins drive from PDX airport. Possible pick-up/Drop-off (suggest $20$ tip). 5 min drive or 20 minute walk to transport hub, shops & restaurants.
You are more than welcome to our home in Fishers Landing, Vancouver, Washington. (not Canada!)
Enjoy a private bedroom with a comfortable full sized double bed, reading chair, desk, and attached shared bathroom with shower. There is air conditioning in the summer. Central heating with an additional space heater if you need it in winter. The room is not so big, but we've been told it's fine for a couple.
(We also have another large air-conditioned master bedroom with queen bed, ensuite bath, and sliding door to patio/garden also available listed on AirBNB.)
Microwave available for your use outside your room. Space in our fridge and freezer. Coffee, tea, milk, fruit, and small snacks available.
Vitamix and an Omega juicer available if you wanna make a smoothie or some veggie/fruit juice.
Most other amenities available: wireless internet, printer, hair dryer, iron, washer and dryer.
PLEASE NOTE: Follow the directions to our house on your itinerary. The GPS will get you to our large housing park (17401 SE 39th St.), But it will NOT get you to our house (number 195). Feel free to call.
If neighbors ask you about staying with us, just say you're friends of ours from out of town--which you are!

Your room and attached bathroom (shared only occasionally). Shared entranceway and shared laundry. We're easy-going about people being out in the main areas of the home.
Either way is good for us!
Weegee, the cat, loves our guests! However he's fearful of other animals, so you'll want to keep your pet in your room if you bring one.
•We'll let you know where to park. Be careful backing out if you park in the carport– some folks have hit the wood around the garden beds.

•Basic amenities are on the bathroom counter or in top right drawer.
•There is a small kitchenette outside your room for your use. Microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes & cutlery, coffee, tea, and condiments.
•Please set any unused pillows on the side chair (to save on water/laundry.)
•Let us know if you’d like to use the laundry machines.

I am Canadian from B.C., and Jim is from Kansas City, Mo. We have both done humanitarian work overseas for most of the past 40 years. We love people, art, music, food, Earth, travel and entertaining. We're very sociable, and also love quiet and peace too. We run a children's entertainment business where Jim as an amazing balloon artist, and June is a face painter. Jim does graphic arts. We have had many years experience running organization centers. In San Diego, we were involved in hosting and coordinating weddings and events. Wellness has also played a huge part in our lives, and we have a small organic garden, grow wheatgrass, make our own sprouts, vegetable juices and smoothies, have a rebounder, use essential oils and herbs, and general love a healthy invigorated life. We are world-travelers and have lived in Canada, US, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Japan, Peru, Philippines, Nepal, Thailand….and recently returned from 7 years in South Africa. My life's motto? Hmmmm, Something like: "Be love, be peace, be kindness, and every place you walk is a heavenly place!"
