Hi, I'm Carolyn.
I've lived in Hoboken for 17 years! I love the chill, relaxed vibe on this small square mile town on the edge of the Hudson River. Across the river is Manhattan. I fell in love with my apartment originally because it's sooo easy to get to Manhattan in 5-15 minutes by car, PATH train, NJ Transit train or ferry. Manhattan is an intense fast paced city, and Hoboken is much more relaxed. It's easier to let your guard down here.
I'm happy to advise you about your upcoming stay in the area so you can make the most of your stay here. You get more space for the money in Hoboken, and we are virtually bed-bug free. There are several groceries where you can get food locally, and our fruits and vegetables are pretty fresh, and the apartment I offer sports a full, but small, kitchen, with microwave, new stove and refrigerator, and dishwasher.
In the summer, Hoboken is humming with activity! There are free concerts, movie, and plays almost every weeknight, and the occasional festival. There are a great variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, and clubs. An excellent pilates studio is 1 block away. Cortiva Massage School offers $25 1-hour massage, and $40 90 minute massages, a real deal.
Me when I'm not learning French, am probably biking along the Hudson, or catching a movie or play.
I love to travel and meet new people, so if I am in town I am happy to give you information to help you have a wonderful stay here.
