Charming family house (19th century), fully equipped for 6, situated in a quiet area of Haarlem on a beautiful square. 2 min walk to city centre, 10 min to central station, 20 min (bike or bus) to the beach. 30 minutes drive from airport & Amsterdam.
If you want to experience the real Dutch way of family-living, you'll be happy in my fully equipped Mansion with free Wifi. Downstairs you have a kitchen with gas stove, 2 fridges, magnetron, dishwasher, coffeemaker & other kitchen utensils to prepare meals and to make yourself feel at home and on holiday! You may use my inventory of coffee, tea & herbs. The house has a spacious dining room with dining table with 8 chairs. In the living room you'll find a large lounge sofa. Outside is a small private town-garden (20m2) with table, couch & garden chairs.
Upstairs you'll find a great bathroom with a double shower and bath. There is a second toilet and a room with a washing machine & dryer. Here you also find the Master bedroom with a King-bed, TV & balcony. On the second floor you'll find two spacious bedrooms (2 double beds). On this floor is a small wet room with a washbasin (no shower).
Towels & linen are included. Cot on request.
You can use the whole Mansion. One room is reserved for my private stuff.
I will be at home to welcome you and show you around (check in between 14.00 - 22.00 pm). And I will be there to say goodbye when you leave (check out before 11.00 am). In between you can consider the house as 'yours'. It goes without saying that if you need anything you can contact me (by phone or mail) and I'll be delighted to help you.
Extra fee for City-tax: € 3,25 per person per night.
I have lovely neighbors and I like to keep it that way, so no parties! My house is a non-smoking one and I am sorry, but pets are not allowed.
I have my own training company and I work throughout the Netherlands. I love my two beautiful daughters who live, work and study in Amsterdam. SInce they have left Haarlem, I have a lot of space in my 19th century Mansion. So half May 2016 I started with airbnb because I want others to enjoy my house. The more because I like to make city trips myself and I experienced several times the benefits of sleeping with local people in the centre of a town.
When I don't work you can find me traveling, reading, dining with friends - or in a boat: rowing & sailing are my favorite sports.
Hospitality is the thing I hope to offer you in my home, so feel welcome to visit and explore Haarlem, Amsterdam, Bloemendaal at sea & other nice spots in the neighborhood!
