Welcome to Oakland!
We are renting a room with blue floor in a cozy, clean, bright and charming Victorian in urban West Oakland. Near West Oakland Bart (-10 min walk) & downtown Oakland and SF.
The house is a shared space with other Airbnb folks looking for a quiet place after exploring the area.
You have access to a common kitchen and bathroom.
We live downstairs, love to BBQ and drink good wine (and share with our guests!!).
Our house has been built in 1889 by a European architect specializing in Victorian constructions in Oakland at the time.
You can enjoy the front porch with its rose garden and also the backyard. Sit at the picnic table, pick fresh Meyer lemons off the tree and relax!
We are reachable at all times by text, phone, email. One of us works from home so you can also knock on the door downstairs.
We have a very old Victorian house and our floors are original pine wood so very soft and scratch sensitive. Please take your shoes off when entering the house.
As you will share the kitchen with other guests, please be conscious of keeping the common areas clean.
Michael is from California and Daphnée is from Montréal.
He is an architect and she is a young sommelier managing a restaurant.
We love food, design, wine (obviously!), traveling and surfing.
Looking forward hearing from you ;)
