Charming large 3-bedroomed house on the edge of Richmond, famed Georgian market town, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. On a hill with panoramic views all round - across Swaledale and over to the Yorkshire Moors . This quintessential English lane is also the Coast to Coast path and tapers into a track. The house is comfortable and tranquil with terraces and outdoor areas and just a short stroll into town, to the shops, restaurants and cafes.
A beautiful house part-built from stone in 1926 on a scenic road. The house is full of light with views in every direction.
Downstairs is open plan consisting of a large living / kitchen / dining area with views to the front and glazed doors at the back leading into the garden. There is a split-level section with piano, desk and french doors to a small terrace with table and chairs to the front of the house.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom and a utility room with Miele dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
Bedroom One is large and split-level stretching across the front of the house with beautiful views across the medieval pasture of Westfields and out across Swaledale. There is a king-sized bed and TV.
Bedroom Two is very large with a split level bathroom and freestanding bath and french doors leading to an outdoor terrace with table and chairs and lovely views down over Richmond and across the Vale of York. It has a superkingsized bed and TV.
Bedroom Three is a good-sized double and overlooks the garden with a king-sized bed and a wash basin and toilet.
There is a house bathroom with bath and shower.
Outside there are plenty of places to sit including a paved area with pond.
There is a driveway for several cars as well as a pull-in opposite the house.
There are many footpaths which lead from the house. It is a simple stroll down the hill to the pristine river Swale with footpaths along the riverside, or into Richmond itself with its Norman castle, community cinema, cafes, shops and restaurants It is a walkers paradise both in the immediate vicinity and in the Dales. It is close to the Lake District for trips out and also convenient for Northern towns like Durham, York and Harrogate, or across to the coast at Whitby via the Yorkshire Moors.
It may not be suitable for small children given there is a pond.

On with wing of the house at the far end is an independent self-contained office with own entrance from where one lady works from 8am-12pm weekdays. I doubt you will see her !
