Our previous guests have been very pleased with these accommodations. Most of them them this year have been visiting medical professionals, or film industry folk. We book very quickly.
Guests will have their own private entrance and small front garden area by their door for their use. We will personally meet you on your arrival at any hour confirmed with us, and can accommodate delays.
Your privacy is our mantra...but we are ever open to a guest joining us in "Church Hill" life, or having a paddling pool ready for their child in the back garden.
We are very engaged with our local community, and have memberships to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. We love our City, and hope you will as well.
We have had enquiries from folks wanting separate beds, but this is a spacious one-bedroom apartment with one full-size bed with quality linens. If you need a two bedroom apartment, this is not a good "fit" for you or us.
We do supply a roll-out small single bed with sheets and blankets for a child in the bedroom to add for a visiting couple.
We have a small dog (Pip, the Papillon) who loves humans but not other dogs. We are sorry, but no guest pets permitted on the premises at any time.
We keep a quiet, neat home and expect our guests to do the same.
We front on a public elementary school, and annually bring classes of young children to our home as a part of our neighborhood engagement. The school children also line up in front of our home for fire drills, etc.
Accordingly, for our own safety and that of the children, no firearms or ammunition are ever to be brought onto our property by our guests.
