Rancho Del Sol is nestled in the beautiful hill country of Fredericksburg, Texas. The ranch comes complete with central a/c and heating, comfortable beds (1 king, 2 queen, 2 twin),linens, dishes, BBQ pit, Television, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, washer, dryer, and huge stone fireplace. Kitchen, living, and dining room areas are large and spacious. The dining table itself seats 10 people and the couches are oversized and cozy enough to sleep in. The ranch has an extensive selection of movies available for viewing. The front porch is a great place for that morning cup of coffee while sitting on a rocking chair savoring the rolling hills, scenic vistas, and abundant wildlife which include white-tailed deer, turkey, dove, axis, black buck antelope, fallow, elk and zebra.
The ranch has a gorgeous private pool with grotto and water fall that is perfect for those hot Texas summer days. Natural springs that feed the creek have been damned up to create a fishing pond and is stocked with catfish and perch. Even the little ones are sure to catch a big one! We have fishing poles and tackle available for use for up to 10 people. Don’t forget to bring the bait!!!! If it’s sightseeing you like, then the ranch has a four wheel drive mule on site for rent that seats up to 5 people. It's built for fun and a great way to explore the surroundings. Rancho Del Sol is a great place for family vacations, couples, and corporate retreats!
The town of Fredericksburg has great food, some of the quaintest shops and is home to several wineries and vineyards. If your outdoorsy then we sugguest taking a hike up Enchanted Rock, or watching the daily emersion and return of bats at the Old Tunnel Managment Area , or possibly a visit to The Wildseed Farm. If you don't mind the drive, then San Antonio, Texas is just 1 hour away!!!
Please, no smoking in the house!! There is a designated area on the front pourch with ash trays and rocking chairs. Please leave the house in the same or better condition than when you arrived, and put items back where you found them.
