We (Sharon and David), live close by and know the local area really well. We can clue you in on all the things to see and do!
Travelling from overseas or limited space in your car? No need to lug all your linen with you, we offer a very reasonably priced linen service ($15 per stay per person) so no need to do all that washing on your return home.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
The guest making the booking accepts responsibility for all other guests either staying at or day visiting BBH.
Payment constitutes the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your refundable damage deposit and/or additional payments.
Guests are responsible to ensure bins are put out on bin collection night (Thursday night). Excess rubbish left by guests may incur additional tip fees.
BBH is not let out to groups for end of school celebrations.
Smoking is not permitted inside all areas of the home. Ash trays are provided on the front deck for outside smoking. Fines apply for smoking inside or throwing butts on the lawn or in the gardens.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. The owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property, nor for any injury.
Departure - the property should be left in a same state to its condition on arrival. Otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply. Check-out time is (TIMEOUT) by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of security deposit.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
We love animals ourselves, sorry but we don’t take pets. The home isn't fully fenced and we don’t want pets inside, we have even banned our own pooch as many people have allergies and such and there is also the local wildlife to consider.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
We are easy going, nothing is a problem. David enjoys all sports, especially anything fast that gets adrenaline going, water skiing, watching movies, all types of food, and just relaxing.
While Sharon loves teaching, painting, drawing, photography, gardening, reading novels, engaging conversation about a wide range of subjects.
We both love having a chat and travelling.
