Perfect Home for Exploring the SF Bay Area! The outdoor amenities (hottub, gas bbq, gas firepit, dining tables, tv, electrical outlets, fountains, birdbaths, birdfeeders) will make you want to sleep under the stars every night!
This 3-Bedroom, 1-1/2 bathroom house is perfect for exploring the BAY AREA!
The LARGEST bedroom has a QUEEN-SIZE bed. The largest room also has an attached HALF BATH (toilet/sink), tv, LAMINATE FLOORING & separate entrance that leads to the HOT TUB and private, sunny, rustic DECK!
The medium-size room has a DOUBLE MURPHY BED, LAMINATE FLOORING & an 8-FOOT SLIDER providing the PERFECT VIEW of the BEAUTIFUL YARD! This is MY FAVORITE room in the house!!!
The smallest room has a twin bed & FRENCH DOORS with laminate flooring. This room overlooks the STUNNING GARDEN area and leads you straight to the gas BBQ area!
There is a LARGE updated FULL BATHROOM with a SEPARATE SHOWER and TUB in addition to the 1/2 bathroom.
The OUTSIDE is the GEM of the home!!! There is a GAS BBQ, 2 sinks (1 copper), a frig, 2 gas stove tops, TV, pizza oven, and a breath-taking GAS FIRE PIT which will keep you super warm even in 20 degree weather! The UPPER PATIO (w/fire pit) OVERLOOKS the MT. DIABLO HILLS. It is great for entertaining and there are plenty of electrical outlets to plug in your music, etc.
There is also a wood-burning fire pit on one of the lower patios. The fountains, birdbaths & gardens make it a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. There are many beautiful trees, two extremely healthy grapevines (red & green grapes - help yourself to some tasty grapes in August/Sept), playful squirrels, occasional deer, and lots of blooming flowers in the large yard which are blooming in the Spring/Summer.
There is also internet access, cable tv, & free parking along the long narrow driveway.
The only downside to this home is the limited bathroom space, i.e., 1 and 1/2 bathrooms and there is no dishwasher.
The OPEN SPACE area nearby is great for Hiking, Biking, Running, & Wildlife exploring.
There are public TENNIS COURTS + a very nice PARK down the street at the end of Rudgear Road (1/2 mile away). There are also several nearby public GOLF COURSES.
This is the perfect house for visiting the BAY AREA b/c it is:
- 27 miles from San Francisco,
- 5 min. drive to (public transportation to SF) BART,
- 45 min. to Napa Valley (wine country)
-5 min. drive to downtown Walnut Creek!
WALNUT CREEK itself is a MUST-SEE City!!!

I am easy-going and enjoy meeting new people. I love snow skiing, tennis, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with family/friends. My favorite travel destinations are NZ, Ireland, & Idaho, Montana, Alaska - - all gorgeous w/fabulous people! My boyfriend, Skip, is from the Oregon/Washington area and sometimes is gone traveling for his work.
I am a working professional. Depending on my workload, I may not be around much. I hope you feel at home in our home! And if we are in your home, please be assured we will treat it like it is our own, i.e., with care, respect, and cleanliness! And I have learned from my parents and live by it: "If you borrow something, return it in better condition than you found it."
