We live in a beautiful, newly renovated floor-through in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. We are very clean, non-smokers with no pets. We get lots of light from both sides of the apartment. We've lived in this wonderful neighborhood for 10 years!
We recently renovated this floor-thru apartment to extend the kitchen, update features and bring in more light. It is a very cook-friendly kitchen with plenty of ammenities and space to make yourself at home. Our bedroom is a separate room with a very comfortable queen size bed and an interior, arched window into the living space. There's no door between the bedroom and the living room. Our couch is new and opens out to a double futon-style bed. It's very firm and 1 person can sleep very comfortably here. The space has an open concept which adds to its roomy feeling. We have a 32" 1080p HD T.V. and a PS4 (with Blu-Ray player,) as well as Apple T.V. for lots of entertainment options. I'm a dancer and teacher so there are numerous pilates/physical therapy props for use including a physioball and foam roller.
We live in a quiet building on a very safe block, and close to everything Brooklyn has to offer: 5 blocks to the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Botanic Gardens, a short walk from the Grand Army Plaza entrance to Prospect Park (585 acres), the Barclays Center Arena, and many Zagat and Michelin rated and well-reviewed restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques.
We've lived in this neighborhood since 2005 and that says a lot about it's desirability. My husband, Jacob, being a carpenter and in general, a genius with fixing anything, renovated the apartment updating basic structural and cosmetic aspects. Beautiful hardwood floors were also recently redone.
We are in love with our home and neighborhood. Enjoy!
You will have the entire apartment to yourselves.
We will be reachable through phone or email to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
We expect our guests to clean up after themselves and leave the space exactly as you found it. Please don't wear your shoes around inside. Thank you!
I am a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. My husband, Jacob is a scenic and sometimes commercial and residential carpenter. We've been together since 2000, meeting in our home state of North Carolina and after moving to New York in 2002, have lived very happily in Brooklyn for 12 of those years.
