Bring Your Own Tent!
Set up near the creek with an existing fire pit, or find your own perfect spot on our 9 Acres in the heart of the Gorge. Explore 1100' of creek, our waterfall, or walk a few minutes to a stunning Columbia River view spot!
9 acres of land, 1100' of creek, and a waterfall.
Water and power available by the campsite, and a port-a-pot provided.
You're welcome to explore the land, pick your favorite spot :).
The driveway has a hill that has eroded pretty good, but I drive a prius and make it up/down just fine. I forsee no problem, but do take note it won't be so easy for a motorcycle.
I do occasionally stay here in my RV, (you'll see it, the funky painted "Bloom Wagon" next to the yellow RV. If I'm there I'd love to meet if you want. :)
Feel free to #1 in the bushes, but please do use the provided toilet for #2.
County wide burn ban in effect, even on campfires. We have not had any rain since June, so please no campfires! We've had some guests build them anyways and a neighbor already complained, so please no campfire!
There is a young family that lives in the yellow RV up the hill, but it's pretty private between the two areas and while you may see their car come and go, interaction would be minimal to more likely none.
We got hit pretty hard by an ice storm this last winter, so there are trees down all over. We're slowly but surely cleaning up, so please excuse the nature mess :).
Leave no Trace!! I'm a tree hugging environment lover, so please please please do not litter and be respectful of our wonderful mother nature :). Please use the portapot and be cousious about what you do/put in the creek, please no soaps/oils, etc.
If you start a campfire, it's very important that you pour water on it and extinguish it completely before leaving/going to sleep.
Thanks for loving our land like we do!!
Originally a PNW native, I finally moved back after 15 years all over the world... Northwest is definitely Best :)
I have my hands in all sorts of things, but am currently writing a book! I'm loving the process. I'm a voracious reader, my favorite authors including Debbie Ford, Brene Brown, Martha Beck... usually non-fiction personal growth. I love being better today than I was yesterday :).
I've been to 31 countries, and have airbnb'd, couchsurfed or done work exchange in plenty of those. I LOVE this style of connecting with people, trusting and sharing our space our knowledge. Will be happy to chat and learn about you if you are interested and it works out during our stay.
Cheers and a bear hug :)
