Henri's place is both very charming and very comfortable. It is impeccably clean and well-equipped for preparing a nice meal, having a barbecue on the lovely patio, and doing laundry, etc. The beds are very good, and the neighborhood is quiet, so it's easy to sleep well. We loved the local neighborhood; there are wonderful restaurants, the famous Montreal bagel shops, great grocery stores, cheese stores, bakeries, fish stores and ice cream, all a very short walk away. Henri is most helpful with information on the neighborhood, and with accommodating one's requests. Communication was prompt and reliable. We highly recommend this place!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Henri’s place during Formula 1 weekend in Montreal. He made it really easy to check in and out and gave helpful recommendations to get around the city. The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable and was the perfect home away from home after long days and nights exploring the city. Mile End is a fun neighborhood to stay in too…plenty of cafés, shops, and things to do within walking distance. It was close and easy to get other parts of the city like Downtown and Plateau, but didn’t feel crowded and busy like those areas especially on Formula 1 weekend. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Montreal.

Where do we begin, this was our first trip to Montreal and our first Airbnb stay, and it was phenomenal. The trip exceeded our expectations and much of that was due to Henri. All of the reviews were bang on. Henri is a wonderful host and his place is truly a home away from home. Clean, bright, beautiful and spacious. The pictures do not fully convey all the charm and character. We traveled with our young daughter and had more than enough space. We also enjoyed Henri's record collection and Emma was quite intrigued by the true story behind 'the wolf's den'. The neighbourhood is beautiful and safe. We walked everywhere to grab coffee, ice cream, and bagels. We particularly liked the bookstore, Drawn and Quarterly, and the flower shop, Dragon Flowers, just around the corner on Bernard. We are a family that loves to eat and there was plenty to choose from close by, we frequented B&M for breakfast, and had memorable dinners at Maiko sushi, and Socialito for Mexican style short ribs and yuca fries. Downtown Montreal was one bus ride away. We ventured there to see the Notre-Dame Basilica and went on a horse drawn carriage tour with "Prince". We fell in love with Montreal and look forward to coming back again soon. Book your stay with Henri, he is an absolute pleasure to deal with and will help you navigate your trip with ease. Merci mille fois Henri, your zest for life is infectious and your kindness will not be forgotten.

This is the perfect place to get a genuine Montreal experience, as it's walking distance to all the great restaurants, bagel shops, parks and cafes you could possibly want. Our family stayed for four days and it felt like a second home (our three year old kept calling it her other home). Henri has filled his place with lovely furniture, making for a very comfortable stay, plus plenty of information on the city, a kitchen stocked with supplies and anything else you would need to feel at home. The record collection was a huge bonus, too. And if you don't want to eat at the great restaurants, there are several markets nearby to make cooking at home easy. As a host, Henri met us when we arrived to answer any questions, was readily available by phone, and made sure to say goodbye before we left. An excellent host. We will 100% be staying here again if we return to Montreal.

Most beautiful house rented in Airbnb so far! Host was attentive for smooth checkin while he wasn't there, space super clean, and the use of the barbecue in the patio outside was a wonderful plus! I would recommend it to anyone; group of friends, family, couples, etc. Thank you Henri, I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

You really could not ask for a better place to stay. Top of it all, it's located right in the heart of Mile End, which might be the hippest place in Montreal. It's full of places to eat and drink, and you can easily get from there to wherever else you'd like to go. Henri was in constant touch as I arrived in Montreal and was there when I arrived to explain everything to us. The apartment is gorgeous, and has a great little patio you can eat on or just chill out on. Everything is stocked. Could not ask for more.

Henri really saved us - we had an AirBnB booked that cancelled two days before arrival and Henri was able to take us in very, very last minute! He had everything ready for us right on arrival and even made us reservations at a great local restaurant for our first night there. The space was absolutely beautiful and walking distance from just about everywhere (we like to walk...for those who don't there's a bus a block away as well). It was totally peaceful and quiet. We could easily relax after a long day out sightseeing with out a care in the world. Henri greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of pointers for the neighborhood (best ice cream, best coffee, best bagels, etc.) and we took him up on all of them. We planned to eat out while we were there, but the kitchen was well equipped and there was even access to the outdoor bbq for those who would like to get some meat at one of the many local butcher shops (or the Jean Talon market which we totally loved!) and grill it up. I highly recommend this place for anyone. Thanks again, Henri!!

I really enjoy hosting guests and creating a special stay for you. I take pride in being tidy, have attention to detail, and a love of traveling and staying in beautiful places myself. I'm also very proud of both Montreal and my place, and Airbnb is just one more way to let me share both with other "fellow travellers".
I am always keen to help you have the best trip to Montreal, whether it be finding the best local restaurant, the fastest way to a meeting, or a special extra touch for a romantic weekend away.
I’m sociable and friendly, but know when people need their own space. Enthusiastic, I love Jazz dance the Tango am open minded, with a love of life. Passionately Canadian, yet a citizen of the world. I am avid world traveler myself and speak English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Armenian and a sputtering of a few more. I spend most of my time trying to resist traveling.
When I do though, I still stay in touch via email to answer any questions and manage your stay, and I have a lovely friend who then will take equally well care of you while in Montreal.
