Stay on a sofa bed in my living room. I bought a memory foam mattress topper to make your stay extra comfortable. This is an ideal place for people who want to see London on a budget. I am at work all day, so we will not get in each other's way. You are also welcome to use the kitchen for breakfast.
This is an opportunity to stay on a sofa-bed in a one bedroom flat of a Victorian building, close to Shepherd's Bush and Kensington Olympia transport links.
When you stay here you will get:
- Clean towels and bed linen.
- Clean bathroom with shampoo and body wash.
- Free Breakfast: Tea, coffee and Cereals
- Fully equipped kitchen including Washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle.
- Free WIFI broadband connection
You are on the border with zone 1. You can reach the heart of Central London in just 15 mins on the tube (+10 min walk to the station). I go jogging in Hyde Park and run past Kensington Palace (home to William and Kate). The flat is perfectly located if you want to enjoy London.
Heathrow airport is no more than 45 minutes away as Paddington Station only 10-15 minutes away,
Ideally located with 2 underground/metro stations within 5 minutes' walk from the apartment.
The apartment is served by numerous bus routes day and night.
Located on Sinclair Road, the flat is close to Shepherds Bush Underground (Central line) as well as the Kensington Olympia Underground (District line) and Overground station. The Westfield London shopping centre is within walking distance and there are plenty of local convenience stores and cafes in the neighbourhood.
This is a small flat, so it is ideal for those who want to get a good night's sleep to enjoy London, rather than stay in the flat all day.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
I have listed check in and check out times, but I can be flexible depending on my plans and on whether other guests are checking in. Please message me your check in & out times and I will try to meet your needs if you need to arrive early or leave late. I had to list fixed times on Airbnb, but it's more flexible in reality!
Note: the water pressure in the shower is not very strong, but it works fine (I use it!). You can also take a bath if you prefer.
I'm very open to hosting guests and look forward to meeting new people. However, please be aware that this is a shared space in my flat, not a private room, so there are three important rules.
- absolutely NO GUESTS. (I won't have guests over when you stay, so this is for mutual privacy / safety)
- the door to the shared space will obviously be closed at night when you sleep, but please keep it open during the day so I could get into the kitchen. I usually agree that the door to the shared space should be open 9 am - 10 pm, but let me know if you need to sleep in so I know in advance.
- please do not enter my bedroom.
We will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom. The only room out of bounds is my bedroom!
I am at work all day and tend to work late, so we will not be seeing each other much.
No smoking and please don't be noisy at night - we are sharing an apartment after all! You are welcome to have breakfast at the flat and use the fridge, and microwave, but please don't cook meals.
Absolutely NO GUESTS.
I was born in Moscow, was mostly brought up in London and have lived in Paris (beautiful), Chicago (great fun) and Delhi. Now I work in a media tech start-up and live in London, but spend a lot of time travelling for work, mostly to the European continent and the US. I rent out my space when I am not around and love using Airbnb for my travels. So far, all my Airbnb experiences have been very positive, both as a guest and a host. I've met great, kind people around the world and hope to make the same impression on everyone I meet.
