Our loft is truly located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. The visitor center/train station and many great restaurants and bars are footsteps away. You're renting a small private room and sharing bathroom, kitchen and common area. We love guests and want you to enjoy your Flagstaff experience.
Your room is a little over 100 sq ft and has an openable skylight, fan, mirror, nightstand and shelf. The common area includes a fully equipped kitchen and living dining area which you are welcome to make yourself at home in. The shared living space is very open and bright. Its rare to find such a large space right in downtown. All rooms are heated in the winter (60's) and fan cooled in the summer (70's). It's rare that summer temps are high enough to make the space approach 80 degrees but it does happen a handful of days every July. Because we are so central there is a fair amount of "city" noise during the night.
You will have access to your private room, shared bathroom, kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is totally equipped for cooking which you are welcome to do! We have Wifi and a 52" tv with internet access, but no cable. We usually have a bike or two to loan if needed, and can make space for your bikes inside as well, either way please let us know ahead of time so we can be prepared. The entry door is white with a keypad at the SW corner of the building and code will be provided upon arrival. See "Getting around" section for parking info.
Our schedules keep us busy during the day and often up early. We are both yoga instructors, so we have gaps of free time here and there throughout the week. We are usually home in the mid-morning and at night. We walk/run our dogs a few times a day. We love company and cooking together. We also love traveling and interacting with travelers, but are happy to give you as much privacy as you'd like.
We are affiliated with the Alpine Pedaler and a local ski/snowboard shop that all offer a discount when you book with us.
You will be sharing space with myself, my boyfriend Chris and our dog Ringo. Smoking and parties are not allowed, but there are many bars within one block radius. One of those bars is right next door and often has live music that can sometimes be heard from your room. Quiet time is after 10pm most nights. We are both yoga instructors who often teach early during the week. You are welcome to use the kitchen/fridge to keep your things and make food. We just ask that you clean up after yourself and keep common areas tidy. We do not have reserved parking. You can park very close on the street between 3pm and 11am and on weekends without any issue. If you stay more than one weekday you'll need to avoid the 2 HR parking spots by heading a block or two east on Aspen Ave. The access door is white and at the SW corner with a key pad on it. The stair access is not ideal for children or elderly.
I love living in Flagstaff. I love traveling and its a dream to come home to. I keep an active life through teaching yoga and circus arts to trail running and biking. Come play in this high desert wonderland!
