Very nice appartment, really cosy. It does get rather but there are a lot of fans and 2 AC installations (but noisy). The curtains in the two bedrooms are not very thick and you cannot close one shutter (due to the exhaust of the AC), so it gets quite light. Adjusting the temperature in the shower is difficult and reacts late. Bathroom is clean and shower products are provided. There are 2 bedrooms: 1) double bed and single bed 2) double bed with airco. Rooms 1 and 2 share one window. There is also a mezannine with a single bed in the dining room. A sofa can be converted to bed also. No dishwasher.
Situated in an old building next to a church, the property was very quaint. A few blocks to Campo di Fiori, another few across to bustling Trastevere, everything in Ancient Rome 20-30 mins away by foot. Since it's in a older building it does tend to get hot in summer, but overall a very nice place.
Paolo was an amazing host. He helped arrange transportation to and from the airport. He provided a list of recommendations that were fantastic, definitely the best pizza and gelato we had in Rome. The apartment was very comfortably for 5 adults and the location was amazing. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely want to stay here the next time I am in Rome.
We spent a week in May in Paolo's apartment. Apartment is nicely furnished and has an ideal size for a family with two kids. Bathroom is small but all clean. Some of the furniture is a bit aged but overall the apartment is very charming and we had a great time. The location is clearly the highlight of the apartment! Extremely central and in a very nice location which is still authentic and not too touristy. Paolo was a great and flexible host. Thanks a lot for the great time!
