I am a Canadian who has moved to Bergen, Norway after living for 6 years in New Zealand, and I do research in Papua New Guinea, so I live a very mobile life! I am a researcher in anthropology and previously studied/worked as an archaeologist. I love to cook and try new food, be surprised by something I've never seen/heard/smelled/tasted before, and challenge myself in all kind of ways. I share a home with my Norwegian husband, a marine biologist originally from Oslo, and our son Lex. We used to rent our spare room as finding affordable accommodation in Norway is difficult (I know, I was a visitor here myself, once!), and we have the luxury of a bit of space to share :). Now, we are in a new house with an apartment on the ground floor, which we make available to travelers when it's not being used by our own families or friends.
