Built in 1968 by visionary artist/architect Arthur Mégiès and lovingly maintained ever since, Villa Les Pins d'Or is truly one of a kind.
It is located in the charming village of La Roquette sur Siagne, tucked away between sea (only 10mn drive) and mountains therefore offering the best of both worlds!
The house consists of 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 13-14 people, 4 bathrooms, a dinning room, 2 living areas and a big kitchen with breakfast bar. It has a large private swimming pool which offers stunning views of the notorious town of Grasse (world capital of perfume) and the Vallée Verte, a roof terrasse, and the 4000m² garden surrounding the property is carefully maintained all year round. It comes with private parking and even its very own Pétanque court or "Boulodrome".
As well as towels and bed linen which are provided, guests will benefit from all the modern facilities expected in this day and age, including air conditioning in all bedrooms.
Beach-wise, the bustling city of Cannes, home to the eponymous festival provides the glamour for a french riviera-style experience and is only a 10mn drive away. For those in search of a more picturesque and intimate beach setting the old town of Théoul sur Mer will take your breath away with its stunning views and terracota houses, again a mere 15mns away.
Out of the house and away from the sea, hiking and horseback riding enthusiasts will discover the Pays Grassois, also known as the "Balcony of the Côtes d'Azur", with its wide open spaces of meadows and woods, splendid panoramas of the Siagne gorges and the Mediterranean from the ridge lines, the silvery sheen of olive trees in the afternoon sun and of course, its unmistakable light and perfumes.
Excluding the storage room next to the kitchen, guest are granted full access to the entire house.

All bookings accepted by the owners are subject to these conditions. They are deemed to have been accepted in full by the hirers upon payment.
a) Confirmation: Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the balance.
b) Deposit and Damages: A €1000 refundable security deposit held against damages, lost keys or excessive cleaning requirements is payable with the balance. Except in the case of normal wear and tear the hirer will be responsible for making good any damage to the holiday home or its contents which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the holiday home or their guests. Such damage must be reported, without delay, to our local representatives. The cost of the repair or replacement must be agreed with and paid to the representatives or the owners via the airbnb resolution tool.
c) Inclusions: The holiday home rental includes normal usage of water, electricity and gas and exclusive use of the pool. Linen and towels are inclusive as well as use of any leisure items and toys.. Please note: No items may be removed from the holiday home during your stay.
d) Exclusions: The holiday home rental prices do not include any personal or travel insurance, travel or transportation.
e) Cancellation: Cancellation of bookings must be in writing and notified to and received by the owners no later than twelve clear weeks prior to departure.
Cancellations less than twelve weeks before departure will forfeit any deposit paid. Premature departures waive rights to any refund.
f) Occupation: Only persons listed on the booking form may occupy the holiday house. Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons (14) specified in the holiday home description occupy the holiday home except by prior written agreement with the owners. The owners or their local representatives reserve the right to refuse admittance to the holiday home to the hirer and their party if they are in breach of this condition.
g) Hirer’s Responsibilities: The hirer is responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents. The property and all equipment, utensils, furniture etc. must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period. The hirer shall ensure that no member of the party engages in any activity in or around the swimming pool that may cause pollution to the water or damage to the structure or filtration equipment. The hirer is prohibited from engaging in any form of commercial activity at the holiday home except by prior written agreement from the owners.
h) Rights of Access: The representatives or their subcontractors have the right of access to the property at any time with due regard to the convenience of the hirer for the purpose of inspection of the property and to carry out any essential repair or maintenance work.
i) Responsibilities: Neither the owners nor their local representatives can be held responsible for any circumstances beyond their control including, but not limited to, mechanical breakdown, illness or failure of any public service supply. The hirer is responsible for ensuring nothing happens to the property which would endanger the policy of the holiday home owner’s insurers in respect of the holiday home and its contents or which might make the same void .
j) Injury and Damage: Neither the owners nor their local representatives take any liability for personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects howsoever arising during the booking period.
k) Information: All information supplied by the owners and their representatives is given in good faith and is based on information available at the time. All reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the accuracy of any statement made, but the owners and their representatives are not liable for any variation however caused.
l) Occupancy: Booking periods run from Saturday to Saturday. Variations to this are possible but must be confirmed and agreed in writing with the owners at the time of booking.
m) Keys: Detailed instructions for key collection and directions to the holiday home will be sent shortly after receipt of the final payment.
n) Complaints: Any complaints about the holiday home or its contents must be made known immediately to the owners. Neither the owners nor their representatives shall have any liability for any complaint submitted after the completion of the hire period.
o) Insurance: The holiday home hire cost does not include any personal insurance cover of any kind. It is recommended that insurance is taken out against cancellation and it is strongly recommended that personal accident and medical insurance is taken out.
p) Pets: Pets are allowed with the owners prior consent.
q) Swimming Pool: The pool is available for the exclusive use of guests all year around. It is not heated. Diving is not recommended. The wooden slide from the upper deck down to the swimming pool is very old and purely for decorative purposes. It is not to be used at any time. French law requires pool safety measures but specifically states that parents/adults are primarily responsible for the safety of children and does not negate parental responsibility. It is hereby agreed that children will be supervised by responsible adults at all times particularly whilst children are in or near the swimming pool.
r) Smoking: Villa Les Pins d’Or is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property. Ashtrays are provided for outdoor smoking, please do not discard cigarettes anywhere else in the garden.
s) Barbecuing: Open flame barbecues are strictly prohibited from June to September. We provide guests with an electric table grill for that purpose.
t) Behaviour: The hirer agrees to be considerate and to take good care of the property and its contents and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the hirer leaves the property in an unacceptable condition. The hirer also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to residents in the neighbouring properties. The owner reserves the right to take any appropriate action, including immediate termination of the tenancy (when no refunds will be made and the owner will have no further liability to you) if the property including the pool and its grounds are abused or misused or if the number of persons staying at the property exceeds the number stated on your booking form without prior arrangement with the owner. Hirers must not touch or interfere with any pool equipment, irrigation equipment, electrics and similar equipment.
