Be lives in a great neighbourhood. She is a wonderful host and an even more wonderful person. She was quiet and courteous and always very thoughtful and hospitable. Thank you Be! I had a great stay :)

I stepped off a daybreak flight and Be was awake and ready to welcome me. She is an extremely pleasant and accommodating host, who is happy to share her intellect and knowledge. But is also very considerate of your space and private time. The room is beautifully presented. It is flooded with natural light and features a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space and a desk for laptop setup. The location is quiet and close to grocery stores and other amenities. However, expect a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest metro stop.

Be was an extremely hospitable, thoughtful, and gracious host. For example, when I was walking to her apartment to check in there was a heavy rain shower, and I was soaked. Once I got to the apartment, Be offered to make me a warm cup of tea, and gave me a towel to dry off. She also had snacks with the tea which was a delightful surprise. Be was very engaging and we had a lovely conversation about art, MFA programs, and living in New York. She also provided a wonderful guide to all of her favorite places to eat and visit in the city as well as informative advice about transportation and answers to tentative questions about staying in her apartment within her information packet. Her apartment was very clean, organized, and moderately spacious for a city notorious for closet size apartments. Ridgewood, the neighborhood she lives in, is mostly residential, and I saw a lot of children playing outside, which demonstrates the safety of the area. I highly recommend staying with Be. I could not ask for a nicer first time experience using Airbnb.

My time spent here was amazing. I had never been abroad on my own before and was extremely worried about how things would turn out- Beatrice was very easy to stay in contact with and very concise with organisation which made my transition super smooth. I never experience any problems whilst staying here and even if I did Beatrice was not too far away that she couldn't help! I spent around 90% of my time in Manhattan and Bedford and the commute was actually really good compared to what some of my friends had to travel.. The L train is a luxury in hindsight even if some mornings it doesn't feel like it! The apartment is as shown in the pictures- the room I stayed in was very large and the kitchen/bathroom areas were really big too! Beatrice is a warm, kind and friendly person and it was such a pleasure to meet her- I'm glad that I chose to start my American adventure here. Definitely check it out!

Everything was great. Beatrice was really busy moving her things to a new place but still she was able and willing to talk, recommend and help in every possible way. I wish her the best of luck for her future projects.

I stayed with Beatrice for three months, and Beatrice made my first experience visiting and living in NYC perfect. She was a warm, kind and friendly host, who was always attentive and considerate of my space and needs, and always made me feel comfortable and happy living in her home. There was always plenty of space in the fridge and bathroom for my things, and my room was cosy and clean. The L line is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away and only took me 25 minutes on my morning commute to central Manhattan which was perfect for my busy internship schedule. There are also lots of handy deli's around the local area and the neighbours within the block are also lovely to meet. Beatrice was a great host, she always offered things to make me feel comfortable, we went out for lots of meals together and had many a night sharing stories over cups of tea. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a very affordable and safe place to stay at while in NYC - Ridgewood is a great space to escape and relax outside of Manhattan, but you're never too far away as you can see the skyline and the Empire State from the rooftop! I've been so lucky to meet Beatrice and I have made a true friend - it was great living and exploring NYC with Beatrice and we shall definitely be keeping in touch.

Beatrice is a great hostess. First, she always responded nicely and quickly to my mails and questions. Then, the flat and the room were cousy, clean, and very important: the subway was nearby. Beatrice always tried to make me feel comfortable and respected my space at all times. She is very interesting to talk to. I'm glad she speaks spanish so well! It has really been a very nice experience.

I am a California transplant in New York City for a decade now and have various places I call home in the world including Peru and Taiwan. I often host friends from around the world in my flat in NY and love to cook for friends. If I stay at your place, I would love to invent fusion culinary dishes pending on what is available in your neighborhood grocery store, or else brew you delicious tea if that is what you enjoy. Of course, if you don´t have time I would respect your privacy and time, but I do enjoy meeting people, swapping stories and a few good laughs. I always clean up after myself as mutual respect is my core belief in how I navigate the world.
As a traveler, I believe in steering to places where one has a life purpose in.
