Our charming, peaceful 2BD-2BTH home is located on the loveliest tree-lined street in West Hollywood. It is decorated in earth and sky tones to reflect our love of nature, and complete with modern comforts and amenities. Whether sitting on the front stoop by the grapefruit trees or in the private backyard rose garden listening to the fountain, you feel far away from everything, yet are mere steps away from the the bustle of Santa Monica blvd and the elegance of Melrose Avenue.
If you enjoy the outdoors, the backyard is a perfect place to unwind, have a bbq or simply watch the plethora of local birds flitter about. It's also a perfect enclosed spot for pets. The custom-made veranda offers seating for six around the table as well as cushions for naps. Inside, the bathrooms are fitted with deep tubs and dimmer lighting. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, is light and spacious, and opens directly onto the back patio and gardens. The home fits four. The kitchen has all stainless, modern appliances including washer/dryer.
Guests can park directly in the driveway off of the street, and if they request in advance can receive two on-street parking passes as well. Guests will have access to all areas in the house and yard, except for the two bedroom closets and drawer spaces marked otherwise. All appliances and cookware are available for use and an array of cold breakfast foods and milk will be provided complimentary for your stay.
We will either be there to greet you upon arrival or provide easy instructions for you to access the property. It's our wish to provide a quiet, calm and pleasant atmosphere for you while you are away from your own home.
NO smoking or drugs or parties of any kind inside the house or in the yard. Please don't make too much noise outside after 10 PM for the sake of the neighbors and the serenity of the neighborhood. No more than four people can stay in house. Please don't ask about having events at the house.
Having transplanted from New York City, I have now lived for nearly 10 years in West Hollywood and absolutely love it. The community in my neighborhood is so close, it's one of the friendliest areas in Los Angeles and has so much to do. There's something so amazing about the creativity of Hollywood in general, the fact that you can go for a hike in the middle of the city, and the terrific people all around that drew me here. I'm an author, work in the media industry, travel a lot to major cities and middle of nowhere locales, and an avid reader of Scandinavian thrillers. Both of my dogs have amassed quite a large circle of friends here - and one of them is really the unofficial mayor of West Hollywood.
We won't be in your way, but will offer suggestions as to where you can go to eat or drink (West Hollywood has the best happy hours), and how to get the most out of the area, whatever you are here for. Our motto is - life's short, so go sailing.
