We offer two spacious double rooms one with queen size double bed and one with twin singles. There is a shared bathroom and toilet, exclusive to guests. The adjacent guest sitting room has Sky Tv, free Wi Fi, DVD, travel library and tea and coffee making facilities.
A continental breakfast is served in the guest sitting room at a time to suit.
Situated in a quiet leafy street Aroha Bed and breakfast is 300 metres from Canterbury University, Riccarton bush and native reserve, Westfield Mall, shops and restaurants. We are ten minutes by car from Christchurch Airport.
Nearby attractions include Botannical Gardens, pop up earthquake shopping area,and the Sports Stadium.
The Airport bus can be caught two blocks from the house.
Your hosts, Don and Olive, have great local knowledge and will assist with travel planning if necessary.

I am a retired secondary school teacher, still teaching on a voluntary basis in Christchurch Men's Prison and at our church. My field of expertise is ESOL. I have five children and nine grandchildren. I love to write and usually have a writing project on the go. My husband, Don and I have travelled extensively. Don is a therapist who has helped with many community development projects including earthquake recovery. We enjoy rugby, netball, concerts and theatre.
