Enjoy staying in a clean, spacious bedroom in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment has 1.5 baths which is shared with another guest. Walk to Ozo Coffee, Snarf's Sandwich Shop or Pica for a delicious meal. Easy access to bike paths and bus line. Pearl St is 15 minutes by bus.
Enjoy staying in your private bedroom in a quiet apartment community that is close to bus lines, bicycle paths, restaurants, eateries, and a coffee shop.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor and is spacious with lots of natural light. Enjoy sleeping on a full-sized futon mattress and having access to free wifi. The full bathroom with shower is in the hallway and is shared with either me, if I am staying here, or with another guest, who maybe staying in my master bedroom when I am not here. If I am not sleeping in my master bedroom, it means I am staying with my parents in town. I will still come over at least once a day sometimes twice, to make sure the bathroom is clean and that you are comfortable. My priority is that you feel at home in my place and can relax when you're not exploring Boulder! Coin operated laundry facilities for washing and drying your clothes are downstairs.
You're welcome to use the kitchen, fridge, toaster oven and enjoy complimentary tea. Please no smoking inside or outside of the building. If you choose to rent a car there is street parking.
There is a park and bike path within walking distance. The bus is just down the street but you may enjoy renting a bicycle and getting to know Boulder by using the bike paths to get around town. Whole Foods Market, Safeway, King Soopers and Target as well as the 29th Street Mall are less than two miles away! Ozo Coffee, on Aarapahoe, is within walking distance and has the best coffee in town!
I am happy to make recommendations regarding what to do in Boulder, where to eat and where to find the best deals! It's great when you know where to get the most value for your dollar!
You're welcome to use the entire space. I have a kitchen stocked with appliances and cook ware if you feel like getting creative in the kitchen.
It is important to me that you feel at home in my space from the moment you walk in the door. This is why I always carve time to do a meet and greet as soon as you arrive. I want to make sure you know how to connect to the Internet, how to operate the dishwasher, know where the laundry room is, etc... I live in a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath. I will give you as much privacy as you need, however, I am here if you need advice from a local about great restaurants, places to see, and things to do in Boulder.
I will pop in at least once a day to make sure the space is clean & tidy. You may be sharing the space with me or at times with another guest. When there is another guest, I stay at my parents' home.
If you are an outdoor enthusiast visiting Boulder in the summer time, I am happy to take you to Rocky Mountain National Park for sight seeing and spectacular views. I have also taken guests in the past on microbrewery tours. I enjoy introducing my guests to the joys of Colorado living, from the microbreweries to the mountains to yoga! Finally, if you are coming to Boulder to take the web development course with Refactor U, I am just one mile walking distance from the campus.
Please remove shoes when you enter the premises and kindly place them on the shelving located in the entry way. Please no smoking inside or outside of my space. I prefer hosting guests who do not drink heavily. This is a very quiet community.
You may use the dishes, boil water in the tea kettle, use the toaster oven and help yourself to complimentary tea. However, please no eating food or snacks in the bedroom. Kindly use the kitchen, the fridge and pantry for storage of food and consume all meals and snacks in the kitchen on the kitchen table. Please place dirty dishes in the dishwasher rather than leaving them in the kitchen sink. If you wish to buy groceries, you are welcome to keep them in the fridge or freezer. Keep in mind that I do not own a microwave oven. Finally, if you come in late at night, please be considerate by keeping noise to a minimum.
I moved to Boulder about 8 years ago to enjoy the abundance of sunshine and physical activity this town offers. I enjoy hiking, bicycling, yoga and the occasional microbrewery tour :-)! Boulder has so much to offer! A few examples of local festivities: The Bolder Boulder 10K, The Boulder Creek Festival, The Hanuman Yoga Festival, The Fringe Festival and so much more!
