Charming back-alley two-bedroom, 1 bath carriage house in downtown Steamboat. A comfortable and lovely respite.
Live like a local; this is downtown Steamboat living.
The carriage house is stand alone from the main house, however it shares a lovely yard that is separated by landscaping; please stay within the small carriage house yard. It has a parking space for one car at the entrance to the carriage house accessible via Diagon Alley.
You will have a local telephone and contact for your stay.
The carriage house is suitable for four guest maximum. Only one car is permitted, no exceptions.
This is my primary residence and thus has my personal belongings in it at all time; please be respectful and make use of the house, not personal items such as clothes, skis, coats, boots, etc. Please be respectful of the neighbors; it is a high density alley downtown.
I own 11.7Africa which develops customized individual and group travel itineraries to Africa. And I also run Alpine Initiatives which connect people to the mountains. So I live a bit of a split life between ski towns and various parts of Africa. I work from where I travel/ live and thus WiFi or some kind of WiFi solution is a must for me.
Skiing, yoga, surfing, beautiful outdoor areas to work and lovely people make me very happy. I'm an insane neat freak and gravitate to homes, apartments, cassitas, etc. that have good light, a clean and modern aesthetic while still having warmth and charm. Location is important to me as I rather walk or ride a bike than drive; although I'm working on my motorcycle skills so I can more easily (and cheaply) access the places I tend to travel or live. I like to cook and always appreciate a good kitchen or kitchenette and nearby market or produce stand. I adore dogs and really any animal so if you have them on the property all the better.
