I'm a Londoner and sometime travel editor, so happy to help with seeing the sights, finding hidden corners of London and visiting on a budget. Privacy is also fine and I speak some French. I work at home a lot, so generally I can be around for when you arrive and leave. If I'm at home in the evening, happy to share a glass of wine or go out for an Indian meal.
1 off road parking space available.
No smoking or outdoor shoes inside the house. Otherwise please treat the other people in the house with consideration and leave everything as you find it.
Social policy/public affairs consultant and freelance writer, 2 grown up sons and one daughter-in-law, travel lots in UK and everywhere else, love city life, mountains and sea, sailing and ski-ing. Love learning about new things, people, places. I used to edit City Limits' travel section and happy to help with ideas for seeing hidden London, including for free or cheaply. I like anything with coconut and fresh lime juice, sitting round burning coals in the garden on a summer's evening with a glass of wine, any film/play with Juliette Binoche or Bill Nighy or Judy Dench. Life's an adventure and I travel hopefully.
