When renovating the house (built of stone in the 50's), we kept as many original features as possible (wood and tile floors/marble fireplaces/wonky stairwell etc), so I think it has a good mix of modern conveniences and historic authenticity.
The house has a good size garden, wooden terrace and parking area.
When renting my house I am usually abroad, so I have a caretaker to welcome guests and generally be present. I'm also always contactable by phone or e-mail however should any questions/problems arise.
We are part of a very pretty hamlet 'Keric Bian', consisting of renovated farm cottages nestled by the sea, only 200 metres from the beach and the coastal path GR 34. Very much 'entre la terre et mer', we are surrounded by softly undulating pastoral land and rugged coastline. Our part of the Crozon Peninsula is often described as authentic and wild, though we are only a 5 minute drive from shops and services and the more populated beaches!.
There's a good bus service to Brest and Quimper (50 minutes, 2 euros), though it only runs once a day early morning and late afternoon. Unless one is a dedicated hiker/cyclist, I would say a car is necessary.
Price rates on the site are for July and August - please enquire for lower season rate outside of these dates.
No Smoking in the house, No pets and No overnight guests. We have good relations with our neighbours, so No house parties or playing music outside please. If dining al fresco on the terrace, we ask guests to move inside by 11pm.
