Open floor plan with natural light and 3 bedrooms, this house is large and comfortable with quirky art. On a quiet street but close to great dining and entertainment. Easy access to downtown and hip neighborhoods (Wicker Park, West Loop, Logan etc.)
The house is large and open (1,900sq/ft). There are hardwood floors on the first floor and carpet on the second. It has modern furniture and decoration with a lot of sculpture, prints and paintings.
The livingroom has a generous sunshine, a large sectional couch, 50" 1080p flatscreen TV with 5.1 surround sound, an HD DVD and a high quality stereo. There is full Comcast cable, HBO, and the sports package. It's a smart TV that can access a free Netflix and Amazon Prime account.
The kitchen is spacious with lots of light and counter space, including an island. It also has a convection oven, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, blender, electric wok, etc., etc.. There are plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, dishtowels, any thing you could want.
The upstairs full bathroom was just renovated and is huge with vaulted ceilings, a skylight, double sinks, a large shower with two shower heads and a bench, an extremely large and deep soaking tub and a toilet with an in-wall tank. There is an in-wall ipod dock hooked up to in-wall speakers in the bathroom, master bedroom or both.
The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings with two skylights, a king sized real tempuredic bed, full length mirrors and lots of natural light (also heavy curtains to block out all that light).
The second bedroom has a well-functioning treadmill with a television mounted on the wall so working out isn't so boring. The bed is a full and it is medium-firm.
The third bedroom is south-facing and gets beautiful light. There's a comfy couch that is also a foldout bed. As foldout beds go, this is the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is also an air mattress and futon mattress to use in addition if one were so inclined. This bedroom also has a large bookshelf with loads of books. Feel free to read any of them (please don't take them with you, though!).
There is a large, two-tiered back deck with a large gas grill. The back yard is nicely landscaped.
You'll have the house to yourselves, which is a first and second floor. You'll also have the use of the yard and deck, including the grill. I live in the separate "in-laws" space (which is basically a garden apartment) beneath by myself. The house is secure and private.
There is a key lockbox, so guests can arrive and leave at anytime without coordinating. I live downstairs so I will be available to help out with anything you might need, and if I'm not home I'm always available by phone/text. I have a guide to my favorite places in the neighborhood and even all around town, but I'm always happy to help out with more specific questions.
If you're driving, parking in the neighborhood is free and plentiful. I can usually park right in front of the house (everyone has a garage).
All potential guests must have a full profile up with verifications.

There is no smoking in the house but there is a nice large deck and ashtrays should you want them.
Please don't touch the sculptures. They are dear to me.
