I was born in Genoa, a lively and multiethnic city: this is what I was looking for when I first arrived in Milan and I found it in the district of Porta Venezia, where the Milanese tradition blends with the modernity of an European city.
The apartment measures 70 square meters and is located at the third floor of a historic building with concierge. It’s a double aspect flat, facing both the quiet and one-way Via Lecco and the inner courtyard.
Entering the house you will find yourself in the open plan living area with a LCD digital TV and free fast WiFi. One of the living room’s sofas converts into a double bed.
On your left is a French window leading to a large terrace overlooking the courtyard.
There is a table that can host up to six people for al fresco lunches and dinners.
On your right is the dining area and an open plan kitchen.
The kitchen, kingdom of my boyfriend and chef Niccolò, is fully equipped.
It has a fridge and freezer, a convection oven, dishwasher and washing machine, a cooker hood, a professional food processor and a Nespresso coffee machine, as well as all the necessary tools. A set of dishes, glasses and cutlery for 12 people is at your disposal.
Moving on to the other side of the house, an antechamber leads to the master bedroom and to the bathroom.
The bathroom has a Jacuzzi shower and a towel warmer.
In the antechamber and in the bedroom there are two wardrobes and a chest of drawers at your disposal, while the wardrobe above the bed is for my personal belongings.
Bed linens and towels are provided upon your arrival and changed every week in case of a long stay.
The apartment has central heating, air conditioning both in the living area and in the bedroom, a security door and armored shutters on the terrace.
Upon your arrival you will be met by two friends, Ilaria and Ezio, who can provide you with information and advice on all matters.
In just a few blocks around the house you can find the historic Milanese restaurant, Indian and Japanese restaurants, a Swedish brasserie, a raw vegan bistrot, typical Italian groceries and pizzerias, bars and wine bars with great atmosphere.
In addition to this the convenience of having all that you need in the surroundings: chemist, supermarkets, bakeries.
In the evening the area is very lively but not noisy: many shops and supermarkets stay open until late at night.
There are no specific rules because I trust you will treat my house with love. In respect of other guests please smoke only on the terrace. Pets are not allowed.
