Tânia's apartment was just as described -- a truly charming spot in the best section of Ipanema, near great bars and restaurants. She was incredibly helpful with our arrival and departure, and she keeps her home in perfect order. We were grateful for the chance to stay during the end of the Olympics -- thank you Tânia!!
I had a great time staying in Tania's apartment. The location is safe and is close to a lot of fantastic shops and restaurants - but it is rather a more upscale neighbourhood and the prices do reflect that. The apartment was spacious and Tania was always available to communicate with me whenever I needed her assistance. I would stay here again. Thank you Tania!
We had a wonderful stay at Tania's place during the first few days of the Olympic Games in Rio. Her apartment is in one the best places in the city - a few minutes from some amazing restaurants, high end shopping and the beach! It is really nicely decorated, clean, functional and spacious. Tania was lovely, helping us throughout our stay. I highly recommend her place and would definitely stay there again.
Tania was very welcoming. She met me at the apartment and showed me around the neighborhood- giving me recommendations for restaurants and showing me where the grocery stores and other amenities were located. The apartment is very charming. It is a home, not a vacation rental, which means there is a lot more character and quirks. You just must take care and be respectful of the place. There is no lift, but there is a door man to help you with your bags.
Tania met us the night we arrived and after a 20 hour flight we were very tired and in need of rest in a peaceful environment. Tania showed us around the immediate area with the recommendation of restaurants, supermarkets, banks etc. After a great nights sleep in Tania's very quiet unit, we had great fun exploring Rio, especially Ipanema.. Tania organised a taxi for us the day we left and this made departing so much less hassle especially as we didn't speak Portuguese. We would recommend Tania's unit to anyone visiting for the first time...
