A 40m2 apartment with a bedroom and a living room. and a balcony. Only one floor up.
Emma was so helpful, we were desperate for a last minute booking and she made sure we were taken care of. We had immediate assistance, quick responses, and had a beautiful place to stay. She gave us great advice for the area where we were staying, which was an added bonus. It was the perfect location, perfect view from the little balcony we had. We will definitely be back!
This place is very beautiful. Balcony is charming! Location is probably the best in whole Paris- nice street, close to all sightseeing, close to public transport, has many cafes around. But (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Emma was excellent- she is very nice and responsive. We were able to check in earlier and checkout was easy.
All the reviews are very accurate. Emma was a wonderful host! Very communicative and quick to reply. We enjoyed our stay at this AirBnb. There were even fresh star lilies in the bedroom that smelled so good. The location couldn't be better! You are right in the middle of the Latin Quarter with lots of restaurants and shops. I felt very safe where we were located. The location is off of a main street so it's not as loud, even on the weekend. It's so close to the metro too, it's really easy to get anywhere within Paris. You have everything you need in this place. The stairs to get there are small and windy with no handrails, just note that when carrying up any heavy luggage. Overall, it was great and highly recommended!
We stayed in Emma's apartment for a week in mid May, 2017. It is as advertised: central, roomy ('cept for the bathroom, which is more of a Europe problem than an 'Emma' problem!). She was extremely accessible without being 'nosey': lot's of ideas, suggestions and pretty much instantly available. We would email her with a question and she would usually respond in the hour. There to help but never seen. The apartment has a great balcony, table and chairs. We had meals out there a few times. Great kitchen with all the utensils needed, spacious living room and bedroom. Tiny bathroom but that's typical Europe as far as our experience went. Criticisms? Hmmmmm. The hallway, stairs leading to this first floor apartment were dark and dungeon-like; nothing to be done about that I guess. The apartment itself could be rated 'upscale' with some touches. More imaginative paint schemes, some art/pictures on the wall, other decorative touches. Lot's of blank, white walls that could look great with a few, inexpensive additions. Am I nitpicking? Yeah, probably. What's the bottom line? I really liked this place and Emma and we would stay here again if it were available. Charles and Karen.
Excellent location-- 2 minute walk to the Monoprix or Seine, where you can see Notre Dame or catch the metro. 15 min walk to the Louvre. Heart of the tourist district; tons of restaurants. Unfortunately, although it's not the owner's fault, the neighboring building is undergoing major constructions, so it's quite noisy. No sleeping past 8am on weekdays!
The apartment was a great space with everything you need for your stay in Paris. The private balcony was fantastic and a great place to take pictures as the background is quite pretty. The host is very helpful and was available to me, going the extra mile to see I was able to get what I needed once there as I forgot pack a few things. I hope to visit again.
