- No 'third party' bookings - meaning we are strict enforcers of Airbnb's rule forbidding you from booking a stay for a person other than yourself. Please only book if you are going to be staying each of the nights you reserve.
- Only the 1-3 persons you have book-in may be on the property (this enables us and our kids to know who to expect to find as we move around the property, and we will be able to account for everyone in the case of an emergency). We can let you know great places to meet up with friends and family during your stay.
- please be respectful of the neighbours and our family with regard to noise. We will do the same for you. We aren't talking about grinding coffee beans at 5am (that would be completely fine as our common wall is well insulated) but if you could keep down any unbridled drunken Adele power ballads at 1am that would be great - our neighbours house is quite close to the grannyflat and we value keeping them happy for us to continue hosting with Airbnb) ;)
I love the adventure-factor that airbnb brings to travelling. It completely floats my boat to be unearthing a great Airbnb to use as a base for discovering new places / flavors / experiences (or to just bunker down and hang out in).
As a host I've loved setting up our grannyflat as a private and comfortable pad where guests can feel safe and nurtured while they explore the region we proudly call home, (or work or visit friends or family).
As a family we love Eurovision, the Woodford Folk Festival, roadtripping in our slide-on camper, bike rides in search of Newcastle's ultimate thickshake, and frollicing in our togs at Lambton Pool any chance we get.
I am self-employed as a Parenting Consultant/Mentor. My business is called Love Parenting and I specialise in helping parents reduce their overwhelm and find their sweet spot where they feel they are doing enough for their kids AND enough for themselves.
Playing a role in people feeling settled delights me.
