Hi! I live in Ithaca, NY and am a mama of 3 children - twin toddler boys and a 6 year old girl. Together with my husband, we live in downtown Ithaca. We enjoy walking/biking to many of the places we frequent. Ithaca is a beautiful area with many state parks, waterfalls throughout the city, outdoor live music/festivals, local businesses and restaurants as well as a lot of diversity in our neighborhood and town. I enjoy eating healthy, local foods and really believe in supporting my local economy. I am a special education teacher and currently do this part time while I spend most of my days with my twin boys. When I was in my twenties, I loved traveling by myself - one of my favorite places I have been to is Barcelona, Spain! I speak French and worked in Nice, France for a bit at a small hotel. But, this was a while ago, my French is still there but, seriously lacks use. As an Airbnb guest, I can assure you that I will take good care of any place I stay. I am a home owner (and renter on Airbnb). I totally respect how much time and energy it takes to create a space that feels and looks great! In my family we think a diverse America is beautiful and we celebrate the diversity within our own nuclear and extended families.
