A centrally located, cozy freestanding cottage in the heart of West Los Angeles! Nestled in a quiet, historic neighborhood, between the major thoroughfares Wilshire Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. Close to UCLA, Beverly Hills, Venice & Santa Monica.
A two-story “fairy tale cottage” in the middle of a quiet, historic neighborhood in West L.A. (sandwiched between Westwood and Beverly Hills).
Interior has a calming eclectic style. Landscaping is quaint and traditional.
Our home is comfortable for 2-4 adults or a family of 4. The second floor of the cottage has a King size bed and the couch in the downstairs living room turns into a comfortable queen size bed.
There is a fully functional kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle with cooking and eating utensils.
The large dining table is perfect for meals as well as setting up your laptop and using it as a productive work place.
Throughout the day, sunlight streams into the windows of various parts of the house making a lovely home even more beautiful.
Two full bathrooms with showers and a downstairs tub.
Other amenities include WiFi Internet, HD-TV, Apple TV, Linens, Towels and coin operated Washer & Dryer on the premises.
The cottage comes with one garage spot, even though there is plenty of parking available on the street—just be sure to look at the street signs for street cleaning, otherwise there are no parking limitations.
Our home is a great deal considering the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel is right behind our unit for over $265/night.
There is an electronic key padded entry, so guests can arrive with out receiving keys from me directly. I would like to give our guests as much privacy as they would like. My husband and I will always just be a phone call or text away should you have any questions, concerns or are curious about local tips for the area. I love giving recommendations! We will do what we can to accommodate you.
PLEASE NOTE: there is no central air in our original 1930s home. We do not mind the fact that there is no air conditioning, but this may be important to you, so please consider it before booking. Summer is pretty moderate in LA, but you never know how mother nature might behave.
The upstairs can be quite warm on hot days, but it is always cooler downstairs. Evenings are almost always cool and it is lovely to open the windows and put on the overhead fan. In the Summer months we install a portable AC in the master bedroom (But we still prefer the cool night air :)

I am a West Los Angeles native. I enjoy skiing, baking and creative endeavors.
My husband, Viktor, is originally from a small town outside of Munich, Germany. He is extremely handy (can fix almost anything), he enjoys track racing, restoring old cars and has a deep love for all living things (vegetarian for over 15 years!)
We both love to spend time in nature; hiking with our dog, star gazing, beach going and exploring what life has to offer.
We both enjoy yoga and practice meditation everyday.
We love traveling, finding new adventures and enjoy quality time with our family and friends.
I work as an Occupational therapist and Wellness consultant for primarily older adults (people say I am an "old soul"). Viktor and I are also in the property management business.
We do not smoke, are respectful, easy going and positive people.
