A charming, bright apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. Unique location close to bars, restaurants and shops on Laugarvegur and Skolavordustigur but yet quiet, as it is in a small local square away from the street.
The apartment* is on the first floor of a three-story house from 1927 and is on most days a quiet and cozy place to stay.
The apartment has two adjoining bedrooms and an open-plan living/dining room.
During Reykjavik Culture Festival in August, the backyard is host to concerts.
There is a private entrance to the apartment and a small privately owned deck in the small joint backyard, where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee when the weather allows (starting in June).
We are only a phone call away for any inquiries you may have.
Everything you need should be handy but please let us know if you need something. The cutlery is in an inner drawer next to the sink (a drawer within a drawer).
Please treat the apartment as if it was your own and respect the neighbours. No parties or noise after 10 pm (building rules).
Please take your shoes off and avoid rolling heavy suitcases around - the scandinavian wood floors will thank you.
Please make sure to close all windows when you leave the house since the neighbourhood cat is always looking for a way in.
However, please open the window after you shower (and close it before you leave) but leave the bathroom door open if you leave shortly after you shower to avoid excess humidity.
