We (2 couples avg mid 20s) recently stayed at the apartment for 8 nights (mid Aug13) for a bit of R&R.
Location - Underneath the apartments is a Supermarket, Cafe and ticket shop. The beach s literally only a few minutes walk. The 'strip' is a minute walk away, so very close to bars and clubs although the noise from the 'strip' was not as intrusive as I thought it may have been. The 'Old town' and fish market are also not far away only a few € in a taxi and there is rank across the road next to another cafe,
Pool - The pool is clean, plenty of sun beds/chairs also a couple of tables.
Apartment - The apartment was clean, and had sufficient cooking equipment. Do note the oven is gas and does not have an ignition so you will have to buy matches. The TV has a few English channels BBC and news. There are 2 air-con units, 1 in each bedroom (at additional cost you will be given a remote to use them). The complex is very secure, a keyed entry gate from the street, then a keyed entry gate to access the apartments.
Location - There is an empty plot of land next door which is used as a free public car park, mainly for the beach during the day. The negative is at night, from roughly 21:00 onwards this car park gradually fills with about 100 cars, some heading for restaurants and others getting ready for a heavy night out drinking. Most nights cars would pull up, open their boots blasting out music and start drinking and raving before eventually leaving to go to the strip. Later on in the evenings you could hear groups of people shouting and singing and then the same shouting and singing early hours of the morning (perhaps the start and end of a crawl?)
Apartment - Although as mentioned the security is very good, the gate at the first floor is right outside the apartment and has no slow closing mechanism, this causes the gate to slam. As you can imagine, people are going in and out of the apartments on the same floor and above at all hours, therefore the gate is being slammed at all hours. There are a couple of dodgy plugs so be careful unplugging. Finally, the beds, possibly the noisiest beds 'in the world', you cannot move with them squeaking incredibly loud.
Suffice to say we didn't sleep well at all. If you're a group going out in the evening, this place is perfect.
Notes: When you arrive you cannot get into the complex (without a key). Do not waste your time waiting outside to be met, wait until someone staying there comes out and go in and find reception.
Reception is not always open however there is a number to call on the door.
I would have given it 5 stars if I hadn't returned home sleep deprived.
